It seems strong and hefty, and installation was simple.
The only small difficulty was that the previous door lock/latch assembly’s hole in the door did not match up with the lock assembly’s,
So, I had to repurpose the old latch mechanism.
I’m not sure if the new latch is to blame for the misalignment or if the old latch was out of the ordinary, but either way, it was a simple adjustment.
This was a problem solely because I was utilizing the existing mounting hole, of course.
If this was a brand-new installation, the hole would have been perfectly aligned with the new lock using the template that comes with the new lock assembly.
It seems lovely.
I choose the satin nickel, and it gives the door a very modern appearance.
Really simple to set up and program In all honesty, replacing the old lock took around 8 minutes. very user-friendly It instantly opens when you enter your code.
Simply press a button to lock. Cons: (Not many, just a few observations) The lock’s inside portion is rather huge.
On the back, it occupies an area of roughly 8 inches.
When the lock opens and shuts owing to the wood expanding, if you live in a humid environment like I do, you might have to pull the doorknob.
Pros
- Easy to install
- User Friendly
- Automatic door locking
- 6 assignable codes
- Single-user temporary codes
- Solid build
- Strong deadbolt
Cons
- Needs further improvements
- Expensive with similar locks
